Adult Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
BreakAway's Adult Outpatient Program is a comprehensive program that provides a unique blend of treatment modalities that have been proven to be the most effective for recovery.
The program provides maximum therapeutic impact, while requiring minimum time away from work, family and other positive responsibilities and activities. The program can be tailored to meet a client's specific needs.
We provide the following services throughout the week:
- Substance Abuse and Recovery Education
- Group Counseling
- Individual Counseling
- Family Counseling
- Introduction to (and support) 12 Step Prinicples
- Outside 12 Step Meetings/ Sponsor
- Random Drug Screening
- Individualized Care Plan with Case Manager
- Client May Choose a 2 or 3 Day Attendance Program*
* Customized treatment programs are available to clients with dual diagnosis, that incorporates the above format and addresses both symptomology and diagnosis. The following is included in the treatment program for dual diagnosis clients:
- Medication Management
- Mood Stablization
- Self-Empowerment
- Coping Skills
The Adult IOP Program schedule is designed to provide maximum therapeutic benefit with minimum interuption in our client's life and responsibilities.

We offer adult clients that require more intensive treatment, access to our Transitional Living at Brendan House.
